make it easier
On my last hike — there were several times that there were 2 different ways to scramble up the next 100 feet or so.
One way was hard. One way was a little easier.
Here’s the thing: I knew no matter what I was going to get to the top.
So with that knowing: why not make the journey a little easier and a little more enjoyable? So that’s what I did.
I just love this metaphor for losing weight for the last time.
You’re going to get there. I promise.
So knowing that… How can you make it just a little easier and a little more enjoyable?
Maybe a mindset shift? Maybe moving away from the land of over restriction?
And maybe just maybe this is where the sustainability lies in your weight loss.
One step at at time. A little easier than your brain tells you. A little more fun. A little more luxurious.
I’m not saying eat all the things. I’m just saying it really doesn’t have to be all or nothing. I’m not saying there won’t be parts that are hard. You’re still climbing to the top of a freaking mountain.
